More About ABF

History

Founded in honor of Allen Blash, who tragically lost his life at a young age, ABF was established by his brother, Nick Blash, to carry forward Allen’s legacy of leadership, mentorship, and community service. Since its inception, ABF has focused on providing structured programs for youth in underserved communities by combining academic support, sports, and personal development to create pathways for success. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, ABF began with the Y.E.P. Summer Camp has since evolved into a year-round organization offering comprehensive programs that nurture academic, athletic, and personal growth.

Impact

ABF has made a significant impact in the community by reaching over 11,000 individuals through active social media engagement. Our comprehensive initiatives in mentorship, sports, and educational support have empowered countless young people to excel academically, develop essential life skills, and gain the confidence needed to pursue their dreams. Through fully funded summer programs and ongoing community outreach, ABF continues to transform lives and lay the groundwork for a brighter, more empowered future.

Future Goals

Looking ahead, ABF is committed to broadening its impact through transformative initiatives. We plan to launch sports teams and personalized mentorship programs to help young athletes build teamwork, discipline, and community pride. In addition, we aim to extend vital support services—such as counseling and speech therapy—to low-income families, ensuring both academic and emotional well-being. Through strategic partnerships and grant funding, ABF will continue to enhance its holistic approach, empowering every participant to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve long-term success.
